A Pool of sorrow
Dwells inside this cave
In which I live
Your words a wind of echoes
Sounding in my soul
Light is dim
The air stale
I cannot breath
Suffocating in your silence

Poets aren't writers, they are poets. An honorific term. Poetry is the most serious business of all: "The record of the best and happiest moments of the happiest and best minds", And when we realize that language is the highest expression of human intelligence; Then poetry is a big deal. The best school for the writer is solitude. "Poets seem to be as specialized in emotional vulnerability as poetry itself. How they pay for their gifts!" (Alfred Kazin)
